Job description

A U.S.-based Fintech company that is revolutionizing the industry by enabling customers to save and invest smartly is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for refining the business requirements and evolving the company’s platform. The company's cutting-edge technology provides users access to smart portfolios designed by experts that respond automatically to changing market and financial needs. The company has managed to successfully raise more than $500mn during their Series F round of funding. This role requires 4+ hours of overlap with the U.S. time zone and can lead to long-term opportunities. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with a wide range of systems and technologies and solve problems from end-to-end
  • Proactively contribute new technologies and ideas to enhance the platform experience
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality user-facing software 
  • Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
  • Extensive experience working with manual testing and customer scenario testing
  • Demonstrable experience working with Android, iOS, or other mobile application development or testing
  • Experience developing product test harnesses and automation infrastructure
  • Experience with mobile app development and testing
  • Prolific experience working with tools like TestRails and CircleCI
  • Prior experience creating, managing, and implementing test plans
  • Solid experience with testing methodologies
  • Demonstrable experience with standard QA and development tools
  • Ability to operate within short release cycles
  • Nice to have some experience with automation frameworks and tools
  • Experience with Cypress, Expresso, Webdriver.io, or other automation frameworks is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
