Job description

An industry-leading company that aims to provide the best, lowest-cost pharmacy benefit management systems and services, is looking for a QA Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for writing and executing test cases supporting the high-volume transaction processing back-end systems, customer-facing web applications, and ETL applications. The company has assembled a team of professionals that treat clients with integrity, provide a high level of customer service, and offer transparent healthcare solutions. The selected candidate will work as part of an agile development team to ensure the quality and timely delivery of solutions. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Write, maintain, and perform test scenarios and suites for new development and changes
  • Assist in managing incoming bugs, ensuring that all bugs are tackled with adequate information
  • Assist with release management
  • Gather requirements, analyze them, and document
  • Contribute to writing or revising user manuals and release notes
  • Leverage SQL query tools against relational databases
  • Work collaboratively as a team player to achieve targets

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information/Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience with QA methodologies and software testing
  • Strong attention to detail for precise documentation and execution
  • Mature analytical and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated SQL proficiency
  • Good understanding to retain knowledge on deep business rules focused systems
  • Capacity to work effectively (maintaining accuracy and sensitivity) under tight timelines and schedules
  • Intuitiveness in sensing the severity of issues and situations and taking befitting actions
  • Experience testing front-end applications and back-end business logic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with the .NET development environment
  • Experience testing APIs and ETL processes
  • Competency working in an Agile/DevOps environment
  • Experience with automated test case development
  • Conversant with CI/CD toolchains and automated build deployment
