Job description

A US-based leading technology company harnessing the power of advanced technical solutions for the service delivery industry is looking for a Node.js Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of writing clean, secure, maintainable, testable, and modular code. The company is developing a one-of-a-kind platform designed exclusively for service management businesses that operate between service provider and service requester networks. They have managed to successfully raise more than $5mn during their Seed round of funding. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of code base right from design and delivery of technical product/services
  • Perform dev testing, unit testing, and ensure code is of acceptable quality
  • Create and adhere to engineering best practices
  • Conduct regular code reviews and suggest improvements
  • Assist the HR in hiring and grooming junior developers/interns

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • A minimum of 2+ years of development experience using Node.js and express and different middlewares
  • Demonstrable experience in design patterns and design principles
  • Prior experience in architecture and design on microservices
  • Solid experience creating and designing RestFul APIs
  • Extensive experience working on at least one NoSQL database and one relational database
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and have experience working in sprints
  • Experience working autonomously and communicating to stakeholders 
  • Experience in performance tuning and scaling web applications
  • Prior experience with unit testing, TDD, and BDD (rapid application development) is required 
  • Experience in DevOps is nice to have
  • Nice to have experience in cloud-based services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Experience in web development is a plus
  • Experience on GraphQL/API Gateway is preferred but not required 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
