Job description

A US-based company that bridges the gap between patient care and health data is looking for a Node/Typescript Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for sharing their technical knowledge on a complete product development cycle for the back-end framework enhancement. The organization has access to over 300mn+ patient records which helps them to make actionable steps in combating the healthcare gaps. The company has managed to successfully raise $9 mn+ in funding.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in active development of backend API platforms
  • Contribute to the development of interoperability interfaces, which will support the web and mobile applications
  • Participate actively in the development of a structured, tested, and maintainable codebase
  • Work with other teams to develop new features and products
  • Promote cutting-edge technological trends, standards, frameworks, and tooling
  • Using AWS managed services and serverless environments, create extensible APIs
  • Use Git, agile practices, and our CI/CD pipeline to manage your work
  • Determine key product trends (API authentication, authorization, testing frameworks, optimization techniques)
  • Contribute to the creation of a product vision and long-term company objectives

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • 3+ years of experience in Node.js and Typescript
  • 2+ years of experience in cloud-based application development like 
  • Must have experience with SQL AWS Aurora, AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Step Function, etc., and Docker-based deployment orchestration
  • Outstanding written and verbal skills
