Job description

A US-based company that helps businesses automate their logistic process with the help of robotic process automation is looking for an Automation Test Engineer. The selected candidate will have to dive into complex problems and successfully deliver results on time. The company is determined to change and power the logistics and supply chain industry with their advanced technology. They have managed to raise $1mn+ during their Pre-Seed round of funding. This will be a full-time, long-term role requiring some overlap with the EST/IST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with data engineers, risk specialists, and product managers to evolve the platform
  • Identify problems and design robust solutions based on state of the art automation and software technologies
  • Help debug and improve scalability, latency, and robustness
  • Reviews design documents and provides feedback
  • Develop the advanced optimization automation that power the platform
  • Ensure timely, effective, and quality delivery of software
  • Collaborate and deliver against an ambitious product roadmap

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Experience working as a strong Automation Engineer
  • Prolific experience working with Automation Test Toolkit
  • Demonstrable experience working with Jenkins, TestNG, and Selenium
  • Some knowledge of Python, Java, BDD, Maven, Machine Learning, Git, and Postman
  • Work on all aspects of software testing, with a primary focus on test automation, but also including feature tests and regression tests
  • Experience with UI testing and API testing
  • Exposure to Development Life cycle, Testing Life Cycle and Defect Lifecycle workflows
  • Knowledge of industry-standard test automation tools 
  • Experience developing product test harnesses
  • Experience mentoring/training the engineering community on complex technical issues
  • Experience working closely with development and business teams
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Debugging/troubleshooting experience on performance and stability tools
  • Experience in Performance Testing, Load Testing, and Security Testing
  • Nice to have some experience in the Shipping/Logistics domain
  • Knowledge in ML and Robotic process automation is desirable
