Job description

A fast-growing company developing an unconventional technology to help solve pain points in marketing and sales for individuals and businesses is looking for a Web UI Engineer. The engineer will be collaborating with a diverse team to deliver against an ambitious product roadmap. The company is developing a suite of products that seamlessly integrates marketing resources and tools to drive up digital and physical product sales. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work quickly to bring concepts to fruition
  • Maintain high productivity, reliability, and scalability of applications
  • Improve the engineering processes to increase team effectiveness
  • Plan, develop and execute end-to-end web architecture 
  • Work with UX designers to discuss and ensure the technical feasibility of the UI/UX designs 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a web UI engineer
  • Deep understanding of advanced JavaScript concepts
  • Prior experience with at least one major JavaScript library/framework like React, Angular, Vue, or equivalent
  • Extensive HTML5, CSS, and CSS3
  • Strong understanding of SVG and HTML5 Canvas
  • Prior experience with cross-browser development and Web services
  • Proficiency with JSON, JSONP, and AJAX
  • Strong knowledge of APIs and deep understanding of HTTP and REST architecture
  • Experience developing secure web applications 
  • Solid understanding of application vulnerabilities like Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF), etc.
  • Ensure that every pixel is in the right place
  • Experience with end-to-end web application development
  • Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision and direction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
