Job description

An emerging US-based company building efficient developer and creator tools is looking for a Unity Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for building compelling web applications using industry’s best practices. The company is on a mission to transform the industry by utilizing accessible, collaborative, and secure spatial computing technologies to generalize the networking technology and empower people to create their own real-time 3D experiences. They have managed to raise $1.8mn+ during their Seed round of funding. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and maintainable software for Android and iOS
  • Work across cross-functional departments to eliminate performance bottlenecks 
  • Participate in all phases of the project life cycle, from concept to specification and quality assurance
  • Ascertain that the software services are resistant to manipulation
  • Participate in code reviews with engineers and suggest improvements
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure feature coherence and product goals are met

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Unity developer
  • Extensive experience in C#, Swift/Objective-C for iOS, and Java for Android
  • Demonstrable industry experience writing reliable software for resource-constrained environments, such as embedded systems
  • Prior experience working in early-stage startup environments
  • Solid background in virtual production, games, AI, VFX and/or 3D animation related software 
  • Comprehensive understanding of strong computer graphics fundamentals
  • Passion for 3D animation, movies, and/or storytelling is a plus 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
