Job description

A US-based company pioneering mobile games and entertainment is looking for a Unity Developer. As a developer, you'll work closely with designers, artists, and product managers in cross-functional teams to develop gameplay features. The company has built products with a high download rate of over 500mn times by players globally. It has grossed over $1bn in revenue so far. The selected candidate will join as a foundational member of the team working on bringing an innovative new game to the market.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize expertise in Unity development to produce high-quality products
  • Work closely with designers to build new and improved game features
  • Provide technical inputs and perform research to produce solutions with the right game-feel
  • Design and configure game features and modify current functionalities to produce high-performing and reusable codes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of engineering experience working on games
  • Must have at least 3+ years of experience in Unity development 
  • Deep understanding of languages like C#
  • Should be able to communicate effectively with different team members
  • Ability to own development tasks from inception to shipping
  • Must have a passion for game development with a solid understanding of game mechanics
  • Professional experience in mobile development will be helpful
  • Experience working on major game titles will be beneficial
  • Ability to rework and optimize major systems will be advantageous
