Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company determined to introduce carbon neutrality to the automobile industry is looking for a UI/UX Developer. The developer should be familiar with orchestration and distributed system architecture patterns and coding against services and databases. The company is on a mission to create solutions that shift consumer mindsets and build a new generation of electric vehicles. They have successfully secured funding worth more than $10.5bn. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Translate the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application
  • Write tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Build the interactive data visualization and data interfaces using web technologies
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting it to the back-end
  • Cooperate with the back-end developer to build the RESTful API
  • Contribute to the code base and explore new technologies
  • Work well in a collaborative and inclusive team environment

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of experience in software development with UX engineering and SPAs
  • Experience in building web applications using Typescript, Angular, NodeJS, React, CSS3, HTML5, Typescript, and GraphQL
  • Expertise with RESTful services or front-end technologies like Redux/React
  • Understanding of CI/CD environment and code repositories such as Bitbucket and Git
  • Good understanding of CSS frameworks (Bootstrap or Material Design)
  • Ability to investigate and prototype new technologies and frameworks using SharePoint, Azure Power Platform components
  • Great written and oral presentation skills
