Job description

A Silicon Valley-based company on a mission to safeguard the energy infrastructure across the world is looking for a UI Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing and modifying features while inputting technical solutions for future roadmap. The company leverages the power of AI to improve efficiency and accuracy during the inspection and maintenance process. They have managed to secure $1mn+ during their Seed round of funding. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Understanding business requirements and user feedback to create user-centered designs 
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups
  • Convert requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and visually appealing user interfaces
  • Creating original graphic designs for UI elements such as input controls, navigational components, and informational components (e.g., images, sketches, and tables)
  • Identifying and troubleshooting UX issues (for example, responsiveness) 
  • Effectively collaborating with product, engineering, and management teams 
  • Incorporate customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into the design

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Experience as a UI/UX Designer with a good portfolio of similar work is required.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) 
  • Skilled in prototype tools like Sketch, InVision, and others
  • HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript expertise are advantageous
  • You have exceptional communication skills and can easily communicate your ideas, plans, and proposals 
  • Pay close attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics
  • You are a strong team player who works well with a variety of stakeholders
