Job description

A US-based company that makes interior-designs fun, elegant, and functional with their modern, cutting-edge selection of cabinets, is looking for a UI/Shopify Developer. The selected candidate will be working in Shopify while developing focused web redesigns. The company manufactures a wide range of premium quality cabinets for kitchen, bath, and other rooms. This is a nice opportunity for developers who enjoy working with a talented team in a fast-paced environment. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in building and implementing effective test strategies 
  • Convert UI designs into responsive features for the platform
  • Develop software with high agility and zero downtime
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Extensive experience working with Shopify
  • 3+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery/ Angular development
  • 3+ years of experience working with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms like LESS and SASS
  • 2+ years of experience designing Web-based applications using Bootstrap
  • Expertise in responsive web design 
  • Extensive experience with OOCSS and performance-oriented CSS selector 
  • Knowledge of scalable and modular CSS approach for the front-end architecture
  • Solid understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, AJAX, REST, JSON, Map-based APIs, XML, and XSLT
  • Basic knowledge of image authoring tools with the ability to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments
  • Familiarity with imaging tools such as Photoshop
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Experience with Telerik Kendo UI/MVC controls is a plus
