Job description

A fast-emerging, US-based company focused on bringing machine learning to microservices is looking for a UI Engineer. The engineer will work with the engineering team to build beautiful and delightful user interfaces. The company is led by a seasoned founding team and backed by incredible investors, and they are building a transformational DevOps product for cloud-native engineering teams. This is an excellent opportunity for the selected candidate to join an early-stage startup with a diverse and distributed team working passionately to improve the lives of modern engineering teams around the globe. It requires a time overlap with the Pacific time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement responsive UI for the AWS application
  • Interface with GraphQL APIs and data-heavy cloud-native services
  • Ensure stability and performance of the application
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering leaders
  • Work closely with customers' engineering leaders through MVP onboarding

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years experience front-end development
  • Experience with React, Node.js, JavaScript and similar front end stack is required
  • Experience building business analytics or developer tools and GraphQL APIs is nice to have
  • Experience working with evolving paradigms (especially an immediate-mode approach to UI creation)
