Job description

A market-leading, furniture manufacturing company is looking for a UI developer. The developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of mockups and new web applications. The company specializes in cabinetry products and focuses on building comfortable and inviting homes through innovations in fashion and functionality. The developer will work primarily on websites built on Shopify. This is a nice opportunity for the selected candidate to join a diverse team of nearly 13,000 employees and work with a brand that is a part of a $6.1 billion company to help foster award-winning innovations in home fashion and build solutions for customers. The role requires a time overlap with CT and candidates based in Asia, Europe, LATAM, or Africa are preferred. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create interactive programs and develop overall concepts to improve the user experience
  • Ensure all interactions are intuitive and convenient for customers
  • Develop and plan the layout of the website
  • Collaborate with other developers to ensure that the website is functional and visually appealing

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in UI development
  • Good understanding of JavaScript and Liquid
  • Experience with HTML(5), CSS(3), Vue.js, TypeScript, and jQuery
  • Proficient with Angular development, Sublime, and VScode
  • Understanding of Shopify to build customized themes and layouts 
  • Ability to develop high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, and other illustrations
  • Familiar with mockups building tools like Adobe, Zeplin, OmniGraffle, Illustrator, and Sketch
  • Excellent English communication skills
