Job description

A US-based Electrical Vehicle manufacturer that has gained a reputation in the transportation industry for their electric SUVs and trucks is looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer. The developer will collaborate with Business Analysts and developers across teams to understand the project’s requirements and translate them into test cases. The company is determined to reduce the carbon footprint in the world through its revolutionary and next-gen Electric Vehicles. The company has managed to raise fundings worth more than $10bn so far. This role requires some time overlap with the IST time zone. It is a great opportunity for developers to showcase their skills in the automation testing environment (and processes).


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Business Analyst and Developers to understand requirements and translate them into test cases
  • Plan, design, and execute efficient end-to-end web architecture
  • Architect and build scalable, robust, responsive, and well-documented stacks
  • Collaborate with the existing teams of developers to deliver high-quality products

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of experience in Software Automation Testing
  • 3+ years of experience with Jira and Bitbucket
  • 3+ years of experience in Testing tools like Cypress
  • Working knowledge of Agile and CI/ CD methodology
  • Strong Knowledge and experience in SQL and NoSQL databases, JavaScript/Typescript
  • Good understanding of API testing
  • Fluency in English including oral and written communication skills
  • Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
