Job description

A fast-growing company that fosters effective communication among teams is looking to hire a Full-Stack Technical Lead. The engineer will be responsible for managing the building process of the company’s product (Chrome extension). The company offers an AI-powered translation assistant that enables teams, freelancers, and individuals to communicate flawlessly with English-speaking colleagues. The selected candidate will work full-time while collaborating with other engineers to deliver a high-quality product. This role requires a time overlap with the Eastern/Pacific time zones. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage the building of the Chrome extension
  • Communicate with the Heads of Product and ML Engineering to break down Jira tasks for the extensions team 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Coordinate with ML progress and stay on top of deploying extension features on time
  • Plan, design, and execute end-to-end web architecture
  • Manage the quality assessment of the application
  • Collaboration frequently with the ML and Product teams

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Scrum sprint planning experience
  • Proficient with architect and design production systems
  • Expertise in React.js, Python, JavaScript, Typescript, AWS, and CI/CD
  • Firm grasp over the design and construction of REST APIs
  • Strong communicator, capability to function without hand-holding and micromanagement
  • Good Spanish speaking skills is a plus
  • Experience building Chrome extension and ML products is nice to have
  • A knack for UI/UX design is desirable
