Job description

A US-based company that optimizes supply chain expenses by lowering total lifecycle ownership and transaction costs is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. The developer will interact with the development teams involved in the project planning, development, and testing. The company is a cloud-based procurement and spend management application that handles mid-market B2B transactions and enterprises. It has managed to raise $25 million during the Series A round of funding. This is a nice opportunity for candidates who want to collaborate on developing high-quality products while growing their skills.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop written test plans, test cases, and scenario matrix
  • Participate and maintain the QA activities, analysis, and tasks
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and deliver on tight deadlines
  • Proactively implement best practices and sustain team standards

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in QA, including Grey Box and Black Box Testing techniques
  • Minimum of 3+ years hands-on experience in system, regression, acceptance, integration, and performance testing (including load and stress testing)
  • Extensive knowledge of API testing and JMeter
  • Experience working with the complete QA lifecycle
  • Experience writing and executing scripts using a language like Python and JavaScript will be a plus
  • Familiar with SQL scripts
  • Good Analytical and observational skills with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Be detailed oriented, self-confident, and have the drive to learn 
  • Experience in mentoring and motivating other team members
