Job description

An emerging company that is making marketing smarter, easier, and more secure with its revolutionary tools is looking for a Senior Web3 Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of architecting and building data pipelines for EVM-based blockchains and others. The company gives businesses full visibility into the source of their conversions and which campaigns and channels bring in the best users while preserving customer privacy. This is a good opportunity for developers to gain some hands-on experience and build innovative solutions.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Construct APIs on top of abstractions on the data for engineers to consume
  • Form internal and external complex web3 and web2 data sets
  • Build and optimize queries that power analytics tools, APIs, and other applications in The product ecosystem
  • Scale internal infrastructure for both managed and unmanaged services ranging from PostgreSQL and Kafka to BigQuery
  • Be in charge of all blockchain integration and potentially manage a team of back-end engineers
  • Move fast but be mindful of the key details that are internal for the engineer user experience

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience working as a core back-end architect or data engineering roles
  • 1+ year(s) experience working with core blockchain technologies
  • Prolific knowledge of security best practices and a passion for web3
  • Solid understanding of how the EVM works, from the cost of gas for OpCodes to how ABI mapping works
  • Extensive experience using technologies like Kubernetes, Hadoop, Spark, PostgreSQL, Kafka, etc.
  • Core expertise working with modern languages like Python, Go, etc.
  • Familiarity with multiple languages is nice to have
  • Experience working in a remote environment is nice to have
  • Experience working with collaboration tools like Git and Notion
  • Prior experience shipping multiple products end-to-end
  • Previous experience with FinTech, DeFi, or blockchain-related projects is desirable
  • Experience writing smart contracts is nice to have
  • Extensive attention to detail, open-mindedness, and solid problem-solving skills
