Job description

A NASDAQ-listed vehicle manufacturing company paving the way for a greener, fuel-efficient, and nature-friendly future, is looking for a Senior QA/Test Automation Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for the software unit testing strategies and protocols to maintain the development cycle. The company is revolutionizing the transportation and automobile industry with their visionary fleet of electric vehicles manufactured to minimize the carbon footprint. They have successfully raised more than $10bn in funding so far. This role requires some overlap with the IST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Business Analyst and Developers to understand the requirements and translate them into test cases efficiently
  • Evaluate and advocate for high quality in an increasing number of customized user experiences
  • Increase the engineering velocity of deployed changes as much as possible
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to meet testing requirements and carry out other implementations
  • Bring a new idea or process improvement to fruition

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 3+ years of experience working with Jira and Bitbucket
  • 3+ years of experience in testing tools 
  • Must have expertise in Cypress
  • 4+ years of experience in Software Automation Testing
  • Must have knowledge of Agile and CI/CD methodologies
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL is required
  • Must have expertise in JavaScript/Typescript
  • Knowledge of API testing
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
