Job description

An industry-leading OTT platform that is revolutionizing the video streaming industry is looking for a Senior Software iOS Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for defining the future architecture of the platform, providing technical and product expertise, mentoring, and guiding developers. The company has managed to raise over $220mn in funding so far. Job Responsibilities:

  • Improve, rework, and reimagine mobile apps to deliver high-quality systems and highly intuitive user interfaces for the iOS platform
  • Implementing various features and improving the stability of the existing application
  • Work on delivering critical business modules while building optimized and modular code
  • Take charge of end-to-end product efficiency, from development to maintenance of core app frameworks to increase efficiency and reliability
  • Collaborate with a team that working on prototypes of new ideas and explore new technologies at the forefront of mobile technology

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6-10 years of experience working as a software engineer
  • Should be an expert in iOS development
  • In-depth knowledge of technologies like UIKit, Core Animation, Auto Layout, and Cocoa Touch
  • Must possess expertise in Swift and Objective-C programming along with experience of working with CS & OS fundamentals
  • Ability to break down complex problems into simple, innovative solutions to ensure meeting business requirements
  • Must possess a problem-solving mindset and ability to work in ambiguity
  • Ability to work with an entrepreneurial spirit, bias for action & ability to work without supervision
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
