Job description

A US-based company that provides digital tools and e-commerce solutions for the dental industry is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for streamlining test cases and verification strategies in a SaaS environment. The company has a client base of more than 40,000 dental offices and is responsible for over $10 bn in dental claims. It has successfully raised close to $150 mn in funding. Job Responsibilities:

  • Test cases must be planned, developed, reviewed, automated, and executed
  • Develop, modify, and execute test plans independently based on requirements and design documents
  • Participate in the design of products and features alongside developers, usability experts, user interface designers, and product managers
  • Participate in functional reviews of specifications
  • Participate in cross-team testing and milestone testing
  • Diagnose, track, and manage quality issues until they are resolved
  • Help manage issues, identify regressions, clarify impact, and remove duplication
  • Automate test cases and validation plans in a SaaS environment
  • Defects from testing should be recorded in the bug tracking system

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of experience in automation, testing, and quality engineering
  • Knowledge of REST API, Microservices, Web services, and API integration testing using Postman/Rest Assured
  • Familiarity with testing data in import and export files, submitting and inspecting API payloads, troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of various HTTP methods, HTTP status codes, and API endpoints for the purpose of testing
  • Experience working with technologies like RESTful API and Page Object Design in UI automation testing
  • Experience with web-based products or services and maintenance of regression, performance, and scale tests in large-scale multi-tenant web applications
  • Knowledge of relational databases, structured query languages, and SQL tools
  • Automated testing experience in a web-based and client-server environment
  • Familiar with both manual and automated testing
  • Knowledge of Version Control, code collaboration, and Continuous Integration Systems such as BitBucket
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across functional team boundaries
  • Proficiency in English
