Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company determined to build a more sustainable future by reducing the carbon footprint caused by inefficient transportation is looking for a Senior Jira/Confluence Administrator. The selected candidate will operate as a technical Jira and Confluence application specialist, enforcing best practices and standards. The company designs, develops, and manufactures industry-leading revolutionary electric vehicles and accessories. It has managed to raise more than $10.5bn in funding so far. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Help to support and maintain Jira and Confluence processes
  • Contribute as a technical expert of Jira and Confluence applications and implement the best practices and standards
  • Develop an understanding of business processes supported by Jira and Confluence
  • Contribute as a leader for suggesting tool usage, standard methodologies, and implementations
  • Document technical solutions that are in line with required objectives
  • Identify and communicate gaps between current and required end states
  • Work with users to improve and provide consistent performance
  • Work as a trusted support and escalation point for major technical issues
  • Provide assistance for delivery management processes and enforcements
  • Provide scheduled and ad-hoc demos and training sessions for Atlassian tools
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal/external teams

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 5 years of professional experience working with Atlassian product suite - Jira, Confluence, Service Desk, and others and supporting 3rd party add-ons like Structure, Insight, Zephyr, and more
  • Must be able to work with a process-oriented mindset with experience of enabling enterprise-level processes using Jira and Confluence
  • Deep knowledge of configuring and supporting integrations using development tools on Jira
  • Ability to manage reports on Jira and supported reporting applications
  • Should possess a clear conceptual and practical understanding of SDLC, ITIL, and Agile frameworks
  • Must have a clear technical understanding of common networking terms and tools
  • Proven experience working in a dynamic and agile environment will be helpful
  • Must be able to work independently in a rapidly evolving environment
  • Should be able to manage multiple clients and deliverables at any given time through effective time management and planning
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication (written and verbal)
  • Strong executive presence, facilitation skills, drive for results, attention to quality and detail, and a collaborative attitude
  • Must work with a good work ethic and ability to collaborate with diverse teams across different time zones
  • Should be able to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
