Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is empowering users, businesses, and communities to build resilience against misinformation on social media platforms is looking for a Senior Front-End Web Developer/Designer. The selected candidate will be responsible for transforming layouts and wireframes into clean and efficient codes. Job Responsibilities:

  • Inform, influence, support, and execute product development and releases
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers and development teams
  • Design and implement reliable, low-latency, and highly performant applications 
  • Document the codebase and engage in the knowledge sharing process with other engineers 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • 3+ years of experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • 3+ years experience with UX/UI design, React, Python, D3.js, and Unix
  • Prolific knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, REST/RESTful APIs, Charts.js, and Highcharts
  • Experience using Git in a team environment
  • Experience with querying ElasticSearch and relational databases like PostgreSQL is nice to have
  • Prior experience with social media data, including visualizations and analysis, is desirable
  • Familiarity with Asana or other agile project management software is nice to have
