Job description

A US-based company that specializes in designing and developing software for startups and socially focused entrepreneurs is looking for a Senior C# Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering modern, engaging, robust, and highly scalable websites. The company's product process and efficient deployment schedule allows organizations to focus on growing their business and optimizing their strategy. This will be a full-time role requiring some overlap with the EST time zone.  


Job Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend the system’s workflow and formulate strategies to address and perform assigned tasks
  • Craft and implement scalable search solutions and initiatives
  • Develop new features, fix bugs, and bring new ideas to the table
  • Iterate quickly and efficiently as per application’s requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer 
  • Extensive experience in .Net framework and C#
  • Solid experience in cloud technologies, preferably Azure with B2C logins
  • Demonstrable experience with JSON endpoints such as Web API and server API
  • Prior experience working with databases such as SQL and stored procedures
  • Proven experience with Entity Framework is required
  • Nice to have experience working with testing and/or automation frameworks: Unit, Widget, Integration Testing, nUnit, XUnit, Selenium, Jasmine, etc.
  • Experience with TFS, Git, or similar source control systems and Jira for work tracking is nice to have 
  • Must be familiar with phishing and false attempts that threaten the company’s database 
  • Experience with CEH, XSS, SQL injections, CSRF is preferred but not required 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
