Job description

A VC-backed fast-growing company in its stealth mode, building an all-in-one e-commerce platform for car dealerships, is looking for a React/Next.js Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving the entire software engineering process with continuous improvement. The company is developing a platform that allows a dealership's customer to find a vehicle online, get accepted for a car loan, value their trade-in, and negotiate their deal fast and efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity for developers who are eager to gain some first-hand experience and test their skills.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the engineering, product, and design teams to make important decisions
  • Work within the team to brainstorm solutions that will enhance the web experience
  • Help in accelerating the platform’s growth through regular code reviews and suggestions
  • Create a technical roadmap highlighting the company’s goals every quarter
  • Work on projects with exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical abilities 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Extensive experience in React, Next.js, and Typescript
  • Nice to have experience in Web API, JavaScript, and Ruby on Rails
  • Must have experience working with Rails API
  • Passion for cars is a plus
  • Demonstrable experience working with a consumer-facing and automotive products
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX 
  • Willingness to develop codes that create an impact on the product
  • Strong coding fundamentals and willingness to work in a dynamic environment
