Job description

A U.S.-based company that is providing tailor-made supply chain management, blockchain technology, and retail supply chain services, is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer. The engineer will be helping the existing team to evaluate and test their software applications for usability and functionality. With the help of the company's platform, consumer brands can sense and shape demand, coordinate team planning and execution, and automate crucial supply chain activities. The company has managed to securely raise more than $1.2mn in funding so far. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, verify, and validate system test cases based on product specifications and technical requirements 
  • Represent the end-user to the software developers to ensure that the requirements are met
  • Validate end-to-end functionality and client configurations
  • Analyze and perform SQL queries 
  • Detect improvements in both the quality control process and the software development lifecycle 
  • Work closely with the product and technical team leads in implementing effective software testing solutions
  • Generate reports of test results and errors detected in documentation 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • A minimum of 3+ years of proven experience testing web products
  • Demonstrable experience in automated tests and CI/CD pipelines
  • Prolific experience with version control
  • Extensive experience with unit testing, integration testing, and code coverage
  • Experience with major cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
  • Nice to have experience with SQL, and the ability to validate data for test result accuracy
  • Prior experience with testing tools such as Blazemeter, Selenium, Postman, SoapUI, and browser-based tools
  • Experience with integrations and APIs (SOAP, REST, gRPC) is preferred 
  • Nice to have knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries, like HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, and jQuery
  • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
  • Passion for the supply chain industry and system development experience
  • Experience developing entire applications from scratch
  • Keen attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Advanced English level
