Job description

A Silicon Valley-based company developing effective security solutions by leveraging the power of advanced AI and robotics is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for optimizing the current application for faster execution and solving scalability issues. Job Responsibilities:

  • Own the quality of company’s systems deployed at the customer sites
  • Establish and run software release cycle
  • Forward engineering issues to the appropriate team when necessary
  • Test and verify the quality of new software releases regularly
  • Increase test coverage and automation
  • Manage and monitor the roll-out of new releases
  • Create device performance reports 
  • Interact with relevant customers to identify pain points
  • Translate metrics and work items for the team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and independent work ethic
  • Demonstrable experience testing React web applications 
  • Extensive experience testing web APIs with Protobuf 
  • Prior experience with AWS Code build and other CI services
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in project/program management, fleet management, and/or QA
  • At least 3+ years of experience leading individual contributors 
  • Proficiency in Python and Scripting
  • Experience working in an agile team environment
  • Experience designing and implementing tests for a hardware device and HIL 
  • Nice to have experience with Docker, Envoy, and other deployment systems
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
