Job description

A US-based company that is determined to leverage the power of modern technology to shift the planet’s energy and transportation systems and solutions is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for cultivating and disseminating knowledge of application-testing best practices. The NASDAQ-listed company manufactures modern electric automobiles that will help offset the carbon footprint. They have managed to raise more than $10.5bn in funding so far. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enforce test scripts, cases, and scenarios
  • Determine optimal system performance according to specifications
  • Run various application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods
  • Engage in performance and functional testing
  • Analyze formal test results to discover defects, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws
  • Collaborate with developers and other team members to test new application software
  • Assemble reports and documentation for all testing actions, results, activities, data, logging, and tracking
  • Identify and develop testing solutions for effective application-testing

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
  • Experience in manual and regression testing
  • Experience in automation testing using Python, .Net C#, or applicable languages.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools
  • Experience with running SQL queries to validate data
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, JMeter, etc.
  • Experience in utilizing Azure/AWS DevOps for test case tracking
  • Ability to write test plans for the feature, execute and maintain them
  • Strong sense of ownership, customer-focused with the ability to dive deep into details
