Job description

A rapidly-growing company that enables construction companies to keep their projects on budget and on schedule while improving quality control coordination between their onsite teams, is looking for a QC/QA Engineer. The selected candidate will work with a wide range of systems and technologies and solve problems from end to end. The company's easy-to-use-web-based interface identifies the areas needing attention and coordinates with the site team. The company secured more than €2.5mn during their Seed round of funding. Job Responsibilities:

  • Review design documents, requirements, and specifications to provide relevant feedback
  • Build well-structured, comprehensive, and detailed test cases and plans
  • Design and integrate automation scripts using open source tools
  • Perform thorough testing to identify, report, and resolve bugs
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and suggest improvements and implement best practices
  • Take charge of tracking QA metrics, defect densities, and open defect counts
  • Incorporate the latest tools and technologies for efficient testing

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a QC/QA engineer
  • Must work with a detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Proven experience of working with E2E web testing: Cypress/Testing Library or Puppeteer
  • Ability to integrate testing using tools like React Testing Library, Jest, Mocha
  • Well-versed with performance testing using tools like JMeter
  • Ability to work with technology like MongoDB
  • Must possess basic DevOps skills on AWS using Elastic Beanstalk and Amplify
  • Familiarity with AWS CodeBuild or similar CI services would be a bonus
  • Knowledge of building integration tests for cross-functional teams utilizing different languages
  • Ability to work on multiple operating systems like Linux and Windows
  • Well-versed with security testing techniques
  • Should have fluency in written and verbal communication
