Job description

A Silicon Valley-based company on a mission to safeguard the world's energy infrastructure by leveraging the power of technology is looking for a QA Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for critically analyzing end-to-end designs for strengths and weaknesses. The company is providing AI-powered predictive analytics and software solutions to help detect flaws in the power utilities. The company has managed to raise more than $1mn during their Seed round of funding. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Test various features as well as back-end REST APIs on the web-based software platform
  • Create and run unit tests for various processes 
  • Execute the tasks and build features
  • Develop end-to-end tests, stress tests, and manual tests for the web-based platform application and REST APIs 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Must have knowledge of Python and JavaScript
  • Experience with Cypress and Postman is required
  • Nice to have familiarity with the Google Cloud Platform
  • Knowledge of Docker and Git is a plus
  • Fluency in verbal and written English
