Job description

A fast-growing FinTech company that develops new solutions to help insurance restoration contractors improve cash flow and simplify procedures is looking for a QA Engineer. The selected candidate should be in touch with new trends and must be very familiar with rapid development. Property owners, contractors, and third-party experts that manage property insurance claims benefit from the software developed by this US-based company. Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties in a manner consistent with a complex, diverse, and dynamic software environment
  • Be detail-oriented, organized, independent, responsible, and accountable
  • Participate in the evaluation and research of 3rd party software and conduct feasibility studies to determine appropriate solutions
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure all objectives are met
  • Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings to the development team
  • Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meet end-user expectations

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Experience with test automation software, quality inspection, auditing, and testing
  • Experience with Progressive Web Applications and mobile-first, responsive design principles
  • Strong object-oriented analysis, design, and programming skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with people of all levels of IT expertise
  • Track record of using modern development processes/tools and working through the entire software development life cycle
  • Nice to have some experience with cloud technologies and services like Google Firebase
  • Experience with UI toolkits like Tailwind CSS is desirable
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum framework is preferred
  • Experience with CRM systems is desirable
  • Nice to have prior experience in related industries: construction, insurance, real estate, and finance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills is required
