Job description

A well-established company that has worked with various biopharma clients, including AstraZeneca, CSL Behring, Roche, and many more, is looking for a QA Engineer. As an engineer, you will work with extraordinary talent and a passion for innovation and quality to continuously design creative ways to break the software and identify potential bugs. The company has launched an end-to-end digital solution that closes the gap between patients and providers through a disease management platform. The selected engineer will join the fast-paced group and have the unique and rewarding opportunity to tackle challenges in the healthcare industry.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Own a feature and create end-to-end, functional, integration API tests for complex business requirements
  • Write and develop integration, regression, and functional tests using industry-standard tools such as PostMan, RestAssured Testng, Selenium, and Appium for RESTful APIs
  • Work with engineers to heighten TDD and BDD techniques and assist where necessary
  • Enforce test plans to ensure the product/services are authentic
  • Produce and uphold feature, requirements matrix, and bug reports to ensure critical features are verified
  • Point out opportunities to facilitate automation that will improve the overall software quality

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a Software Quality/Assurance Engineer
  • Expertise in Java or similar programming languages
  • Proficiency in writing automated test cases using TDD or BDD techniques
  • Proficient in TestNg, API Testing, component testing, contract testing, and the likes
  • Understand requirements and stay up to date with feature development
  • A broad grasp of software QA approaches: automated front-end (UI) testing, back-end testing, unit/integration/system testing, black/white-box testing, coverage analysis, penetration testing, performance testing, cross-platform testing, and QA reporting
  • Prolific skills in GIT, Jenkins, and CI/CD tools
  • Demonstrated ability in SQA methodologies and practices
  • Experience in the healthcare serviceability/operations domain is preferred
