Job description

A US-based company that is revolutionizing the tech industry with live, instant, and real-time engagement possibilities through innovative technology is looking for a QA Engineer. The developer will be responsible for documenting the process and analysis conducted while scaling and building new features for the application. The company's intelligent network analyses traffic, usage, and other factors that could affect the quality of users' embedded video and audio calls in real-time, and selects the most efficient routing channel with sub-second latency. The company is NASDAQ-listed and has secured funding worth $125 mn+ so far. This will be a full-time position that poses a nice challenge for developers who enjoy tackling complex problems.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Ideate, architect, and implement QA strategies for the applications
  • Document the process, tests, results, and analysis
  • Play a role in design discussions and sprint meetings to understand the features and build prominent testing strategies
  • Implement an effective development process pipeline by leveraging top quality CI/CD tools
  • Work closely with the team to analyze, debug, and resolve any platform issues

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of experience writing integration tests and unit tests in JavaScript
  • 4+ years experience in manual testing
  • 3+ years experience using React testing library + Jest
  • 3+ years experience using Docker
  • Prior experience with using Linux tooling
  • Experience writing custom Webpack configurations is nice to have
  • Nice to have some experience using React Native testing library
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English
