Job description

An industry-leading company offering brand management and direct marketing solutions is looking for a QA Developer. As a developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining testing automation infrastructure. The company is committed to helping brands scale by creating, producing, and distributing solutions that streamline processes, automate tasks, and equip a distributed workforce. The selected candidate will join a dedicated, passionate, and driven team to support the testability of the newest software features, build tools and automate regression testing of the entire platform.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation test framework for the platform
  • Execute automatic testing processes and present reports to respective development teams 
  • Track and manage test issues together with the team 
  • Create/maintain best practices and training for test scriptwriters 
  • Leverage critical thinking, multi-faceted problem-solving, systems thinking, and more to review internal issues 
  • Present opportunities for improvement 
  • Support internal customers and Product Teams to identify risks early

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • At least 2 years of experience with software testing frameworks like Cucumber
  • Core competency in enterprise application testing using Java 
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze business requirements 
  • Sound written and oral communication skills for software projects
  • Good understanding of testing REST-based services and metrics tracking
  • Develop Mock servers for automation is a plus 
  • Knowledge of Abstract Data Types, Modular Programming, and OOP concepts
  • Be highly motivated and a self-starter 
  • Prolific skills with Agile development methodology and environment 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Selenium WebDriver a plus 
  • Proficiency with tools like GIT, Ant/Maven, Eclipse/IntelliJ 
  • In-depth experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD) using Jenkins preferred
