Job description

A well-established marketing company that is a leading provider of direct marketing solutions for enterprises and franchises is looking for a QA Developer. The developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining testing automation infrastructure, including testability of new features, building tools necessary to test new applications/services, and automating regression testing of the entire platform. The company is leading the industry by providing on-demand direct marketing solutions. This is an exciting opportunity as the selected candidate will join a team of experts in developing unique and innovative products.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain testing automation infrastructure
  • Support testability of latest software features
  • Build necessary tools to test new applications/services
  • Automate regression testing of the entire platform
  • Work closely with development teams to support their testing framework requirements 
  • Set up automatic testing processes to run periodically and report feedback to respective development teams
  • Help transition the QA dev team from tracking test failures to notifying respective teams to track and manage the issues 
  • Establish best testing practices and training for test scriptwriters 
  • Explore various avenues and techniques to review internal customer (development teams) experiences and feedback to present opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with the product teams to identify risks in the early stages

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience as a QA developer
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing frameworks such as Cucumber and related methodologies
  • 2+ years of experience in testing enterprise applications using Java
  • 2+ years of experience using tools like GIT, Ant/Maven, and Eclipse/IntelliJ 
  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to present ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of testing REST-based services, including metrics tracking, is desirable
  • Experience in developing Mock servers for automation is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of OOP concepts, Abstract data types, and modular programming
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment would be a bonus
  • Working knowledge of Selenium WebDriver a plus
  • Experience in building CICD pipelines using Jenkins would be preferred
