Job description

A US-based investment platform with the goal of disrupting change-resistant industries by working with ambitious leaders, is looking for a QA Data Engineer. The selected candidate will develop and manage the processes needed to build and update the required data sets. The global company bridges the gap between today’s industry leaders and tomorrow’s emerging companies. This role will require at least 4+ hours overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the data analytics capabilities of the platform
  • Develop and maintain models and analyses that assist the team in comprehending the company's engagements
  • Determine the factors that are linked to portco results
  • Help the team to do hygiene checks between data in Cobalt
  • Maintain data consistency across multiple platforms
  • Identify and fix performance issues
  • Help with the existing processes like data hygiene and management of business processes 
  • Help collect data from several different sources

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Demonstrable experience with Data management and operations
  • Experience using Cobalt to collect and manage data
  • Extensive BI skills and experience developing dashboards to help track data progression and data operations processes
  • Experience building dashboards to identify and track data hygiene issues across different platforms
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects to meet goals
  • Excellent English communication skills
