Job description

An emerging company that is revolutionizing the B2B commerce industry with their innovative solutions and technologies, is looking for a QA Automation Engineer. The engineer will be tasked with providing technical leadership and owning specific areas of the product. The company is connecting wholesalers and distributors with retailers through their cutting-edge platform. This will be a full-time position that will present developers with multiple opportunities to grow.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct various tests, such as API testing, for a multi-tenant application
  • Errors should be logged and documented in the tracking system
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams (developers, product, marketing) to find ways to improve automation workflow
  • Write clear, high-quality scripts to test the functionality of the product
  • Contribute to reducing manual testing footprint by increasing automation development by increasing automation coverage

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience in manual testing, CI/CD, automation testing, Selenium, and/or Cypress
  • Knowledge of fundamentals of QA methodology
  • Solid knowledge of manual and automated testing
  • Extensive experience in CSS and HTML
  • Demonstrable experience in setting up CI processes and using tools such as Jenkins etc. for regression and system testing
  • Prior experience executing Docker-based system tests on CI pipelines using GitHub or GitLab
  • Solid understanding of Git/CI/CD pipeline terminologies
  • Experience with API automation frameworks
  • Excellent coding skills
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
