Job description

A fast-growing company helping businesses to retarget their high-intent audiences on the Amazon platform is looking for a Node.js Developer. The developer will be liaising with the technical leadership to ensure project requirements and execution processes are executed seamlessly. The company's cutting-edge platform enables businesses to retain their sales by creating campaigns focused on retargeting past visitors and customers. Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain all server-side network components
  • Ensure optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests
  • Work with the designers on the integration of cross-functional elements
  • Design customer-facing reporting UI using the NextJS framework
  • Develop back-end services for various business processes
  • Develop high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and scalable code
  • Implement effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions in the team 
  • Run diagnostic tests, repair defects, and provide technical support 
  • Document Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as assist in preparing reports
  • Suggest and implement improvements to processes and technologies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Node.js developer creating web applications
  • Prior experience working with APIs for authentication, retrieving, and storing data
  • Demonstrable experience creating reporting/analytics platforms is a plus 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks
  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving ability 
  • Ability to resolve urgent web application issues outside of business hours
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
