Job description

The engineer will work on developing and monitoring mission-critical applications using the most sophisticated technologies, tools, and software engineering methodologies. Strong expertise in .NET and Jquery are required for this role. The company is composed of more than 150,000 people, located in over 180 locations around the world. Job Responsibilities:

  • Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
  • Improve reliability and quality of the software solutions
  • Develop software and systems to manage the infrastructure and applications
  • Measure, optimize, and scale system performance
  • Stay ahead of customer needs and innovate continuously to improve
  • Provide operational support and engineering for multiple, large distributed software applications
  • Partner with development teams to improve services
  • Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of total software/IT engineering/code development experience
  • Software development experience with .NET and C#
  • Experience building microservices in Pivotal Cloud Foundry or other cloud platforms
  • Experience building applications in Web API, .Net Framework, Web Services, Angular JS, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, SOAP, REST, and jQuery
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases such as Mongo, Cassandra
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using TeamCity, Jenkins, or similar tool
  • Experience with unit testing (NUnit, XUnit, MS Tests, or similar testing framework)
  • Proficient with object-oriented principles and design patterns
  • Experience building public web services such as REST and SOAP
  • Have depth and width of decision-making maturity
  • Ability to gain trust & respect of engineering, dependent teams, and stakeholders to deliver results
  • Ability to manage and influence team members without direct reporting authority
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and work with minimal supervision while delivering in a timely fashion
