Job description

A leading London Stock Exchange-listed real estate services provider is looking for an experienced .NET/C# full-stack engineer. As a full-stack .NET developer, you’ll develop and manage the technology stack behind the company's unique platform that allows rapid creation and deployment of app-like components. In addition to this, you will also collaborate and work across an incredibly creative and innovative cross-functional team to outline improvements, design suggestions, and features that align with the overall digital product and services brand vision. The candidate will work directly with existing development resources to scale the company's ability to bring new and innovative technologies to market. This is a full-time role and it requires at least 4 hours of time overlap with EST.

 

Job Requirements: 

  • Develop frontend web applications and backend SOAP services 
  • Build responsive and touch-friendly UIs, engaging with UX to deliver an exceptional user experience 
  • Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying applications/services and proofs-of-concept to support new and existing products 
  • Responsible for the architecture, automated deployment, test automation, and quality 
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver projects/features
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and application integration partners 
  • Utilize and build RESTful APIs  
  • Ensure application resiliency, scalability, and high performance 
  • Identify and resolve production performance and scalability issues 

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent comparable professional experience
  • 4+ years of experience as a full-stack .NET engineer
  • Professional experience using Microsoft stack (C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET, etc.)
  • Proficient in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, Bootstrap, Angular 2+, MVC, JSON and REST services 
  • Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented software and responsive design 
  • Experience designing, implementing and using RESTful web services in a microservices architecture
  • Understanding of NET Core 2.x, 3.0, T-SQL/SQL Server (stored procedures, table design, indexing, SQL Server Management Studio)
  • Knowledge of system design and architecture 
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills 
  • Experience with Azure cloud development and deployment processes and serverless programming concepts (Azure functions, web apps) is nice to have
  • Experience with Typescript, Python, Docker / Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps (Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Automated Testing) is preferred 
  • Knowledge of PaaS/IaaS cloud-native applications as well as some experience with SCRUM and Agile methodologies is preferred
