Job description

A U.S.-based company that is helping nonprofits in harnessing the potential of social media to establish lasting connections with their patrons is looking for a Lead Chatbot Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for exhibiting and contributing to hands-on coding, code reviews, and sprint planning sessions. The company is on a mission to democratize the experience for nonprofit supporters by combining the best aspects of data science and human judgment. The company has managed to secure more than $1.5 mn in funding so far. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Improve the speed and efficiency of the software products 
  • Suggest and implement improvements to current processes 
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, scalable products
  • Modify the engineering standards to increase team effectiveness

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience in Node.js, Python, and NLP
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
