Job description

The selected candidate will be responsible for researching, designing, and building a highly reliable, available, and scalable platform. Job Responsibilities:

  • Translate complex but clear and efficient requirements into code
  • Construct the game's foundation, often known as the engine
  • Create and implement the score, quest, and value systems 
  • Create prototypes for game concepts and features
  • Make a routine and set goals for yourself
  • Participate in the development of the game's technical design and architecture, as well as individual features
  • Handle technical specifications for detection, identification, and resolution
  • Reduce technical debt by proposing smart code refactoring
  • Polish the game, keep the code up to date, repair bugs, and smoothen out any issues

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience working with JavaScript and HTML
  • 3+ years of experience with Game Development
  • 2+ years with REST/RESTful APIs and 3P APIs and Libraries
  • 1+ years of experience with Artificial Intelligence
  • Experience with programming languages (Java, C#, etc.) is preferred
  • Experience in web development (front-end frameworks and REST APIs)
  • Knowledge of APIs and libraries at a high level
  • Expertise in creating new game systems is a plus (Economic, AI, Achievement, Quest, New User Experience, etc.)
  • Current on the most recent gaming trends, strategies, best practices, and technologies
  • Expert programming abilities
  • Competency in data structures, logic, algorithms, and optimization 
  • Communication and interpersonal abilities, both verbally and in writing
  • Possess good interpersonal skills with a positive and eloquent verbal and written communication ability
  • Ability to share brilliant ideas complemented by dependability and execution
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a great sense of humour
  • Excellent problem-solving aptitude
