Job description

A US-based company that offers an array of travel services from brand marketing consulting to commercial strategy is looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer. The selected candidate will work closely with the founders and handle the complete software development lifecycle. The company has built a new digital platform that helps users understand the true value of their credit card points, airline miles, hotel points redemption, and make the most of their travel experiences. This will be a short-term, part-time role with the potential to turn into a full-time, long-term opportunity. This position requires an overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Target the algorithms and work towards the enhancement of the back-end
  • Conceptualize, design, and build web applications by turning wireframes into effective codes
  • Work through the complete software development lifecycle, from the initiation to its launch
  • Design user-based interactions through an impactful front-end architecture framework
  • Develop functional databases, applications, and servers
  • Code for various platforms to ensure functionality across multiple channels
  • Develop and design RESTful services and APIs
  • Troubleshoot issues and solve problems where needed
  • Collaborate with the team consisting of the founder and CEO, Product Operations Lead, Marketing Coordinator, Designer, and Technical Advisor to build out scalable software solutions

 Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Experience in ReactJS, Java, Postgres SQL, and AWS
  • Be conversant with the full-stack, Desktop, and mobile web development
  • Comprehensive understanding of Google Cloud and Google Domains
  • Knowledge of Dashboards, MailChimp, CRM, and CMS is nice to have
  • Proficiency in English
