A fast-emerging platform designed to support inclusive teaching practices and eliminate name mispronunciations is looking for a Frontend Engineer. The candidate will work with the team and be responsible for developing Javascript-based clients for the existing application services to be used on multiple platforms. The platform is trusted by over 200+ organizations and helps to build stronger relationships between colleagues. Job Responsibilities:

  • Build JavaScript-based features for the existing application services on multiple platforms
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team with other professionals to build high-quality products 
  • Provide high-quality graphics and visual elements
  • Create user-friendly applications and stay on track with the latest, emerging technologies
  • Optimize the platform for maximum speed and stability

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated background in creating production-ready, responsive implementations using multiple frameworks, e.g. ReactJS, Angular
  • Track record in using and refining Javascript-based SDKs, as well as integrating directly with web APIs
  • Effective communication skills with an ability to package and document your work for transition to other team members, and developers 
  • Solid background with standard dev tooling, git, etc., and multiple JS frameworks
  • Experience consuming JSON API
  • Ability to communicate effectively about implementations and work with new or rapidly evolving platforms and frameworks
