Job description

A well-established global company building advanced technology to help bring about revolutionary changes in the lives of people, is looking for a Front-End UX Developer. The selected candidate will be using the most recent application programming frameworks, libraries, and languages to create elegant front-end software and user experiences. The company has established itself as the industry leader in electronic and technological solutions that serve the needs of modern 21st-century customers. This position requires some overlap with the IST and CST time zones, respectively. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • High-level objectives and design principles should be translated into polished visual design
  • Participate in user research activities, which may include participatory design sessions
  • Convert business requirements into effective visual communication tools
  • Create behavioral prototypes, user flows, final design assets, high-fidelity mockups, and lightweight design specifications in record time
  • Contribute to the development of visual design concepts through ideation and concept development
  • Create intuitive and elegant user experiences that are in line with current design trends and concepts, delivering wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups that are optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
  • Be an advocate for best practices in interaction design, with a focus on consistency and usability
  • Make data-driven product design decisions and ideas to create the best user experience possible
  • Design, incorporate and document new software engineering techniques and strategies in collaboration with other engineers
  • Recognize customer, product, and user requirements in order to develop, test, and ship software applications that meet their requirements
  • Create software infrastructure and contribute code to it
  • Develop internal frameworks, libraries, and infrastructure to improve software architecture and enable rapid prototyping and new product release
  • Collaborate with UX Designers, Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and Data Scientists to create and maintain a roadmap, as well as to implement best practices
  • Create and keep application documentation so that other engineers can use the stack
  • Examine and improve the code of other engineers in order to improve quality and security
  • Collaborate with product management and quality assurance to test and validate finished features and bug fixes before deploying to the appropriate environments
  • To ensure high code quality, create unit tests, end-to-end tests, performance tests, and automated tests
  • Cooperate with Product Management to define and implement features that meet the needs of customers and users
  • Collaborate with other engineers to ensure quality work and anticipate problems
  • Participate in sprint planning and check-in meetings to identify customer requirements, potential bottlenecks, and solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Strong CS fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems, are required
  • Strong expertise in Angular, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS is a must
  • Confluence, Git, GitHub, AWS experience is a must
  • Experience with design principles, theories, and concepts is a must
  • Experience with tools like InVision or other similar design tools is nice to have
  • Knowledge of Python and React is nice to have
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities
  • A flexible attitude toward work assignments and new learning
  • Ability to handle multiple and varied tasks with optimism and prioritize workload while paying close attention to detail
  • Willingness to work in a matrix environment and a belief in the value of teamwork
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities are required
