Job description

A US-based healthcare company that works with thousands of healthcare workers across the nation to provide healthcare services is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining apps that will enhance the experience of patients by making new additions to the suite of healthcare mobile solutions. The organization is revolutionizing the healthcare industry by making facilities available to people regardless of their income and background. The company has managed to securely raise $450mn+ in funding.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create an internal React-based component library that can be accessed using Storybook and shared between teams
  • Implement a systematic design review process for front-end features in collaboration with the design team
  • Implement a data-driven decision-making system that captures application events
  • Create an informal front-end Guild group to discuss new technology, best practices, and common growth prospects
  • Build an authenticated scheduling front-end experience that works with mobile web views from the ground up
  • Pair up with other engineers to study new technologies and discuss learnings
  • Work with members of a cross-functional team to build the front-end software features using requirements, design mockups, and iterative design reviews

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Must have experience with Typescript, JavaScript, React, Material UI, React Query, Styled Components, and Cypress
  • Knowledge of Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
  • Demonstrated success with commercializing the software
  • The ability to work with a cross-functional team that efficiently solves problems and applies software design patterns
