Job description

An innovative company that is on a mission to revolutionize the way people meet and interact with their game-changing dating app solutions, is looking for a Founding Developer. The candidate will be participating in regular brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative solutions that will help to grow and scale the application. The company is building a one-of-its-kind voice-focused speed dating application that will help users build sustainable relationships. This will be a full-time role and will be an excellent opportunity for developers to prove their mettle. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform code reviews and maintain the existing codebase by making relevant changes
  • Improve the system’s existing APIs and analyze performance bottlenecks
  • Identify and enforce best engineering practices
  • Write low latency, high performant code to enhance customer user experience on the application 
  • Work with the founding team to translate business requirements into scalable tasks
  • Work across the stack, contributing to the company’s mobile codebase and backend infrastructure
  • Build and manage the company’s founding engineering team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Passionate about startups is a plus 
  • Extensive experience in  PHP Laravel, AWS, React, and Swift/Java (Kotlin) for iOS/Android
  • Prolific experience in React Native and NodeJS
  • Experience building extensible systems in a production environment
  • Demonstrable experience with back-end technologies like PHP and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Familiarity with cloud AWS/Google Cloud is a plus 
  • Experience with relational databases is preferred
