Job description

An emerging multi-stage investment company investing in future tech leaders and technologies is looking for a Business Process Analyst. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying and rectifying data gaps. The US-based company offers a variety of options and funding strategies that cater to the needs of startups at all stages of the growth cycle. This role requires 4+ hours overlap with the EST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Help with the ongoing data hygiene requirements in Affinity, Cobalt, and data warehouse 
  • Manage the operations of ongoing data projects, including the data onboarding of new portfolio companies 
  • Take ownership of the quarterly portfolio company's data collection and take care of the interfacing between QBs, Cobalt, and portcos for new data requirements
  • Build data warehouse that will eventually be connected to data science platform
  • Help understand how business works, design processes, and analysis that will help the company to model the effect of things they do in their business on business outcomes
  • Build more business thinking elements than pure data science focus

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Extensive experience working as a Data Ops/Management Analyst
  • Familiarity with data analytics and data science
  • Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in conversational and written English
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
