Job description

An emerging video-as-a-service platform designed for creating, distributing, and monetizing the video content is looking for an Android Developer. The company has built a platform that empowers publishers, advertisers, and content creators to engage with over a 250million users around the world via mobile devices, desktops, and OTT platforms. The selected developer will be responsible for building and maintaining the Android application of the company. The candidate will work closely with the designers, developers, and product managers to bring out the desired software solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent Android development skills looking to build the next-generation content distribution platform. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and manage the Android application of the company 
  • Plan and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new features to the product 
  • Enhance the overall user experience of the application 
  • Fix bugs and bring solutions to the table 
  • Build scalable, responsive, and well-documented stacks 
  • Use a holistic test-oriented approach to ensure seamless application functionality

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong video or streaming app experience
  • Excellent working experience in Android application development 
  • The ability to design apps for Android TV is nice to have 
  • Some working experience in Mebox and Chromecast is a plus
