A US-based retail management system and point of sale company that helps independent merchants compete and win against retail giants is looking for a .NET Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for working with the technical teams and implementers to shape customer interactions with the company’s software. The company is building cutting-edge solutions to empower small business owners and enhance their freedom. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with several feature work, bug fixes, new projects, and produce customer-value
  • Construct mixed systems where components may be hosted on-premise, in the cloud, or on mobile devices
  • Work in collaboration with teams as well as independently
  • Collaborate with experts and professionals in the industry while learning new skills
  • Participate in technical analysis of errors and proposed feature requests
  • Implement practical solutions to recurring problems
  • Work with the Technical Support Team and Product Owner to streamline internal and customer-facing workflows

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Experience with Visual Studio / .NET development
  • Demonstrable experience with C# and Razor Templates, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with ASP.Net MVC, ASP.Net Web API, and ASP.Net Core
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and SQL Queries
  • Understanding of Git and Github (including Pull Requests)
  • Knowledge of MVC and MVVM design patterns
  • Previous experience working on a small to the medium-sized development team is nice to have
  • Familiarity with OData, SignalR, WPF, Xamarin, elmah, Resharper, and Docker is nice to have
  • Nice to have some experience with Continuous Integration (specifically TeamCity)
  • Basic understanding of the operation of websites and web services
  • Knowledge of top software, vendors, and best practices in the industry
  • Excellent problem-solving, aptitude, and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
